Foundation of Russian History Museum

The Foundation of Russian History Museum, located on the grounds of Holy Trinity Monastery, offers a fascinating glimpse into the history, art, and culture of Russia and the Russian immigrant community. The museum features spectacular objects from Russia dating from the 16th to the 20th century: paintings, military objects, books, religious art, documents, photographs, and decorative art. Among these are numerous items that belonged to the Russian Imperial Family and Russia’s last Tsar, Nicholas II. Recently opened to the public, this museum is a little-known gem of Central New York.
