Bouckville is in Madison County, in the Syracuse metro area. The community was named for John Bouck, founder. The latitude of Bouckville is 42.889N. The longitude is -75.551W. It is in the Eastern Standard time zone. Elevation is 1,142 feet.

The town was first settled around 1788. Named after the Duke of Bridgewater, agriculture always has been important to the town and remains so today with its rich, fertile land. It is the birthplace of Stephen Moulton Babcock (1843-1931), an agricultural chemist called the "Father of Scientific Dairying".

Canajoharie is a town in Montgomery County located south of the Mohawk River on the south border of the county. The Erie Canal passes along the north town line. There is a village of Canajoharie in the town. 

Canastota, New York is an Erie Canal community central to a region rich in historical tradition. Originally settled in 1810, Canastota evolved into a vibrant Canal town and became incorporated in 1835. A revitalized portion of the Canal still exists, running through the central portion of the Village. 

The town was first settled around 1760 and established as a Town in 1807 from parts of the towns of Cobleskill and Sharon. Manufacturing plows was a town industry in the 19th Century. US Route 20 is this community's Main Street.

Located on the shores of Cazenovia Lake, the village was founded in 1793. A walk down Albany Street (Route 20) shows the village’s historic architecture. It is home to Cazenovia College.

L. Frank Baum, author of the "Wonderful Wizard of Oz" was born in Chittenango May 15, 1856. His family owned a barrel factory here. As the birthplace of "Oz", our community takes great pride in honoring our native son, and in celebrating the classic film the "Wizard of Oz", as well as "all things Oz".

The Village was settled in 1752, and was incorporated in 1868. It is generally accepted that a German grist miller named Jacob Kobel (variated as Kobus, or Cobel) built a mill on the Cobleskill Creek. The Dutch word for river or creek is kill, thus the name Cobleskill, for "Cobel's creek". The Schoharie County Sunshine Fair, held annually in Cobleskill since 1876[5] is the village's largest event. 

Cooperstown was founded in the late 1700's by William Cooper. William Cooper was a judge, a member of Congress and encouraged numerous settlers to this area. His mansion, which burnt down many years ago, stood next to what is now the Baseball Hall of Fame and the grounds of the mansion are now a park.

The village was settled in 1861 when the construction of the Albany & Susquehanna Railroad started, a fashionable residential neighborhood developed along either side of Main Street. These properties are part of the Delanson Historic District and exhibit a variety of picturesque American architectural styles, including late Victorian.

Settled in the early 18th century, Duanesburg still remains a characteristically rural area. The town's layout is much the same as it was throughout the 19th century -- large farmsteads with hamlets and villages.
